Ugqozi Entertainment is a Johannesburg-based record label and integrated entertainment company specializing in music production, artist development, audio-visual solutions, and large-scale event management. Founded in 2008 by Sizwe Mdluli, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in entertainment technology and performance, the company has grown into a trusted name in the South African and regional entertainment industry.

After a successful four-year tenure as Venue Technical Manager at Sun International’s Carnival City Casino, Sizwe established Ugqozi Entertainment. Over the past decade, the company has delivered world-class services across South Africa, Lesotho, and Zimbabwe, working with prestigious venues such as the Big Top Arena, Sandton Convention Centre, Emperors Palace Conference Centre, and FNB Stadium, while serving both corporate clients and concert promoters.

As part of its commitment to community development, Ugqozi Entertainment launched its flagship CSI project, Kasi Concerts, in 2016. These monthly live events created a professional platform for emerging artists from across Gauteng to perform with high-end sound and lighting, fit for any major South African stage. What began as an opportunity for young musicians to experience “the big time” has evolved into a movement of creating and sustaining dreams, an initiative we continue to run proudly, even post the national state of disaster.

Among our proudest achievements is producing Bhek’zizwe, an acclaimed artist with two albums released under our label, further cementing our role in shaping the future of South African music.
